Our story

Meet our CEO and founder, Malcolm Fritschy. Half-Swiss, Malcolm spent the early part of his career learning the intricacies and precision engineering of Swiss watch-making, and later founded Oldeani with the goal to translate the unmatched quality and attention to detail of Swiss design into promotional merchandise.

Over 30 years later, we’ve evolved to meet the needs of the industry, continuing to innovate and produce timeless eco-friendly promotional merchandise that is delivered with the quality stamp our customers have come to expect.

Our journey

1978

Following his time in Switzerland on military service, Malcolm spent ten years of his career learning the trade of the Swiss watch-making industry.

1987

Oldeani is founded just under ten years later – named after Malcolm’s father’s birthplace in Tanzania.

Initially focused on supplying high-quality watches to the promotions market, working with a range of prestigious and household names, Oldeani soon branched out its offerings to encompass a broader range of quality products, including electronics, clocks and popular desk accessories.

2013

Oldeani receives ISO 9001 and 14001 accreditations, recognising and demonstrating its commitment to quality management and environmental preservation.

2017

The Oasis stainless steel bottle was added to the range, catapulting Oldeani firmly into the drinkware market. The product quickly became one of the most popular, and continues to be to this day, now stocked in 17 colours and a variety of finishes.

2021-2025

Oldeani started to rake in awards and recognition for the quality and innovation of its products, including the following BPMA awards:

  • Supplier of the Year Award 2021 and 2024
  • Work & Play Product of the Year  2022-23 – D-Base speaker. Platinum winner
  • Technology Product of the  Year 2022-23 – Venture travel adapter. Gold winner
  • Drinkware Product of the Year 2022-3 – K2 bottle. Gold winner
  • Most Innovative Product 2022-3 – HIP bag. Gold winner
  • Most Innovative Product 2023-4 – Nomad. Platinum winner
