Printing techniques
All of our products are printed using the following methods. We can advise on the best print techniques to achieve your desired effect.
Pad printing
A fast and popular method of printing that can be used on many different surfaces. Most items pictured in our catalogue have been printed by this method and can be printed in up to two colours. If you would like additional colours please contact us as this is often possible but it is subject to sight of artwork. Pad printing is effective on both plastic and metal although we cannot guarantee ink adhesion on all metal surfaces.
Laser engraving
The design is burnt into the surface of the item to ensure an accurate representation of the artwork and a permanent high quality finish. Our engraving uses a unique technique which engraves each line from edge to edge to maintain the integrity of the design. The colour of the engraving is determined by the colour of the material under the surface.
Embossing
The design is stamped into the material using a special metal block resulting in a permanent indentation and a smoothing of the grain to create the logo. Embossing is used on leather or PU. Not all products are suitable for embossing due to their shape or size.

Full colour process print
Inks are mixed to create new colours using cyan, magenta, yellow and black. The advantages are that many different colours and gradients can be achieved. It is also referred to as four colour process. Full colour process print is available on bespoke items may be possible on additional items but it is subject to sight of artwork and quantities.
